We (I) am an ancient from the old-times (pre-Desktop) but I like to learn new things particulary when they ‘scratch an itch’.

The itch behind snipz was that I needed a tool to take text snippets on one computer and (more or less) instantaneously pick them up and use them on another. There are many services that do this but they are (a) websites - I wanted something ’local’ and (b) far too public and open for my uses.
